Todella hyväkuntoinen sportti-Astra rivakalla ja luotettavalla 2.0-litraisella turbomoottorilla. Tässä moottorityypissä ei vielä yleensä esiinny uudempien mallien tyypillisiä ongelmia, kuten öljynkulutusta, imusarjan karstoittumista yms, eikä myöskään jakoketjun venymistä, koska jakopää on luotettavasti hihnalla. Jakopää on huollettu n. 15 tkm sitten, eli seuraavaan vaihtoon vielä 6 vuotta ja yli 100 tkm. Vaihteisto on kestävä ja sujuva 6-nopeuksinen M32WR, jota ei pidä sekoittaa uudempien mallien M32-vaihteistoon, joka on surullisen kuuluisa onnetomasta kestävyydestään. Tässä vanhemmassa mallissa on huomattavasti vahvemmat osat ja parempi öljynkierto, mikä moninkertaistaa kestävyyden uudempiin malleihin nähden. Voimaa ja vääntöä löytyy. Iskunvaimennus muuttuu jämerämmäksi, kallistelu vähenee, moottorin reagointi paranee ja ohjaus muuttuu tarkemmaksi. Muista varusteista mainittakoon ilmastointi, vakionopeuden säädin, 2 renkaat alumiinivanteilla jne. Huoltohistoria on pilkuntarkka. lähes jokaisesta huollosta ja korjauksesta on myös kuitti ja erittely.
