Auton Suomeen vuonna 2013 tuonut pariskunta oli lomamatkallaan yhdysvalloissa tutustunut Teemu Selänteelle autoja hankkineeseen ja korjanneeseen Simo Veharantaan. Yhteisissä grillijuhlissa pariskunta oli iskenyt silmänsä pihamaalla seisseeseen vanhaan Lincolniin, josta olikin tehty sitten kaupat ja vain muutamaa kuukautta myöhemmin auto oli laivattu Suomeen. Lincoln on museokatsastettu saman tien marraskuussa 2013 ja on viettänyt leppoisia eläkepäiviä pariskunnan hellässä huomassa aina siihen saakka, kunnes päätyi kaunistuttamaan YR-Auton jo ennestään kattavaa valikoimaa.
